Beware of Satanic Manipulation

"Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them."

Luke 22:3-4

What is satanic manipulation?

In our context, it is about Satan gaining entry into a person's heart or mind to influence, control or manipulate the person in an unscrupulous way. Satan has been in the business of influencing and provoking people to deviate from the path of God. Remember that Satan stood up against Israel and provoked David to number Israel. An action that procured the wrath of God upon Israel. In the passage under review, we see Judas Iscariot, one of the frontline apostles of Jesus Christ, being manipulated to do the dirty deal of betraying his Master. May the devil not manipulate you to do any dirty deal for him or his agents!

3 areas of satanic manipulations:

1. Area of what you love!

One area of your life in which Satan wants to manipulate you is through what you love. Judas Iscariot loved money and Satan used his love for money to capture his attention for manipulation. People who love money have opened the door of their hearts to satanic manipulation. The Bible says the love of money is the root of all evil. Do you love your career, pleasure or lifestyle more than God? Do you love your body more than God? The truth is that there are many people these days whose first love is their bodies, so they spend more time in the gym working out than letting God work within. Satan takes hold of people who are into hedonism; people who love sports and entertainment more than God. You have a responsibility to guard your heart diligently by keeping Christ on the throne of your life. Let Him be the Lord of your life indeed.

2. Area of what you think about!

Satan, like God, has access to our thinking. Satan cannot manipulate you unless he gains control of your thinking. That's why you must not allow deceptive, negative thinking. I can deduce that Judas Iscariot was always thinking of how to generate more money for himself by using his position. Satan then gained control of his thoughts and made him think that he could play a fast business deal with the life of Jesus. Do you know why he rejected their money? Because Jesus failed to disappear as He used to do on several occasions. If Jesus had disappeared, Judas would have pocketed the money neatly! He would have told the religious leaders that he had done his part of the deal. Devilish Smartness does not pay!

3. Area of what you fear!

Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain or harm. It is the negative feeling that something unwelcome may likely happen to you or your loved one. The Bible says, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and love, and a sound mind."

(2 Timothy 1:7)

If God has not given us the spirit of fear, then who is the giver of fear? Satan of course! It's that bad how many people have been tormented by fear of all kinds. Such as fear of attacks, fear of sickness, fear of failure, fear of death and what have you! Satan likes it when you live in fear, as he operates in an atmosphere of fear, while God operates in an atmosphere of faith.

Do you want to be free or quiet from the fear of evil? Then hearken to God's word of wisdom! The Bible says, "But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil." (Proverbs 1:33)

I decree and declare that Satan will not enter into you to control or manipulate you in Jesus' mighty name!

Yours sincerely,
