No Separation in God's Love
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39
The love of God is sacrosanct! Nothing can change or alter it. Nothing can separate us from His love. His love made us to become His beloved. Do you know what it means to be called sons and daughters of God? The Bible says,
"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not."
1 John 3:1
I'm amazed and astonished at the love of God! I'm stunned that He should bother to call me His own!
Oh what kind of love is this? That the almighty God will condescend so low to display His love lavishly on us.
The most amazing thing about His love is the fact that His love is not temporary but permanent and long-lasting. There's no separation in the love of God! Love of men take wings at the slightest provocation.
Love of men vanishes or withers away, but God's love stays with us permanently, even from eternity to eternity! And this love is packaged and delivered in Christ Jesus.
So if we claim to be in Christ but fail to share His love, then we are fake or pretentious. True Christians must show forth His love to one another. The truth is that we are not His children if fail to love like Him. Children must resemble their parents, to a large extent!
Who's your parent, the devil or God?
God's family is a love family! The devil's family is a hate and wickedness family!
Why does God love us this much?
1. Because of His character!
Your character is who you are!
You can't be pretentious about your nature or character. You can't fake it. If you do fake it you will be caught!
God's nature or character is love! When He professes love, He is not pretentious about it. He meant it. God doesn’t just love; He is love.
"And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." 1 John 4:16
Love encapsulates Him, and permeates His very being! And because God’s very nature or character is love, He must display or demonstrate love.
2. Because His love is mighty and eternal!
The love of God is not small. It is great and mighty! It can never be exhausted or in short supply! He has more than enough love to go round or to show everyone. There is no end to the love of God, because there is no end to God! His love is eternal, as God is eternal!
3. Because He wants us to love like Him!
God loves us this much because He wants us to become extensions of His love to one another. The Bible says,
"Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another." 1 John 4:11
As He has manifested and still manifesting His love toward us, He wants us as Christians to manifest the same order of love to one another, and to the world. Do you know what distinguishes us from the children of the devil? Love is it!
I decree and declare that you will become an extension of God's love to your world in Jesus mighty name!
