Power to do Miracles

"But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me."Mark 9:39

There is power in the name of Jesus Christ to do miracles. As followers of Jesus Christ, we have been authorised to use or engage His name to secure anything we want from God. Apostle Peter engaged the name of Jesus to heal the crippled man at the beautiful gate.

"Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God."Acts 3:6-8 

Let's consider 2 ways to trigger and engage the power:

1. By Faith 

"And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all."Acts 3:16

2. By asking 

Jesus said, "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."John 14:13-14

I decree and declare that you will enjoy the miraculous acts of God as you engage the power in the name of Jesus Christ.
