How to Enjoy Timely Help
"God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early." Psalms 46:5If the All-Powerful God is in our midst, then we should not be moved, as He is there to help us! T
God is our place of help and safety.
He is the only One who can help us at all times without much ado. God is the only One who can help us right early, as He is the only Source of true help. Vain is the help of men! No man or king can help us if God does not approve or sanction it from heaven. Don't forget that a man can receive nothing except it be given him from above.
Our cry for help must be well directed to the right quarters. The Bible says,
"And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king. And he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress?"2 kings 6:26-27The King's response aptly and ably validates the fact that God remains the true Source of help, and only He can truly help us. The truth is that any help that does not emanate from God will not suffice or satisfy.
There are helps and there are helps! There are helps that come right on time, I mean at the nick of time. This year, may God's help come right on time to you! Like the blessing of Judah as declared on him by Moses in Deuteronomy 33:7, God shall be a Help to you from your enemies!
What to do when you need timely help? Do the ABC:
1. Ask for it desperately!
"And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the LORD: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD." 2 Chronicles 20:42. Beckon boldly on God!
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:163. Cry out for it!
In 2 Chronicles 18:31, the enemies compassed Jehoshaphat, thinking he was the king of Israel and wanted to kill him but Jehoshaphat cried out to the LORD for help and God moved his enemies from him.
I pray and decree that you will enjoy timely help all through this year in Jesus mighty name!
Yours sincerely,
