Good to be Good
"Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts." Psalms 125:4
One outstanding way to make impact this year is be good to people around you. You impact people positively by being good to them. Our God is a good God. He does good at all times.

David said,
"Thou art good, and doest good..."
We are made in His image, as such it is expected of us to do good and be good always. If the good God lives in you, it behooves you to be good. If you know what is in it for being good, you would be committed to being good and doing good.

The truth is that it pays to be good, as God will always do good to those that are good. God does not hide His eyes from good or evil people. The Bible tells us that the eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

God rewards every man according to their evil or good deeds. Who do you resemble by being wicked and evil? The devil of course!
Good begets good, and evil begets evil. Life is a seed. What you sow, you reap! Arise this year with a singular determination to be good to people. As you cannot be good without the good God operating in you, it is germane to ask Him to enable or empower you to be good.
It is good to be good!

Let's consider 3 things you stand to gain for being good:

1. Wisdom and knowledge!
"For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God..." Ecclesiastes 2:26

2. Favour!
"He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him." Proverbs 11:27
"A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn." Proverbs 12:2

3. Inheritance for your children!
"A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just." Proverbs 13:22

I decree and declare that you will reap abundantly from being good in Jesus mighty name!

Yours sincerely
