Going Forward
"And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:" Exodus 14:15
Have you ever faced a dilemma in your life before? Children of Israel were faced with the dilemma to go backwards or to go forward. Moving backwards is going back into the hands of Egyptian army and moving forward is moving into the sea.

What a notorious dilemma you would say! So many times when we look at our situation, we feel that we have somehow been trapped. They felt trapped too!

What to do when you feel trapped:

1. Believe that God is in control!
Particularly, if God was the One who initiated your journey in the first place, He will be in control of your journey. Moses ran to God because he knew God had solutions to their challenges.

Who you run to when you are challenged determines your solutions! Only God can make a way out of no way! Only God can make a way through the red sea! Run to Him in heartfelt prayers!

2. Believe the Word
A word from the Lord is key to resolving your dilemma or solving your problems. When you are faced with ugly situations, you must learn to receive a word from the Lord. Every word from the Lord is pregnant with solutions and miracles.

When Moses received the Word to "go forward" the red sea would definitely make a way for them. Are you in an extreme situation right now? Don't worry as God is about showing you His power! Your problem is God's opportunity to showcase His power to solve problems. A wiseman said,

"Man's extremities are God's opportunities."

3. Believe in your leader
The Bible says,
"... Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper." (2 Chronicles 20:20)
Your success or prosperity is a function of leadership. Who is leading or mentoring you? Your leader is either encouraging or discouraging you! He is either injecting you with faith, "You can make it" or fear,
"you can't make it"
To move forward in life you must surround yourself with positive leaders who are faith-driven. A great leader, Martin Luther king Jr once said,
"If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward."

Only a great and positive leader that can urge you to move forward. Decide to stick with such leaders that will motivate you to achieve your full potential. My father used to say, "Where you are going is closer than where you are coming from.
" Where you are going is superior to where you have left behind! Don't look back! Remember Lot's wife!

Have you received a mandate or vision from the Lord? Keep moving forward in the execution of the mandate no matter the challenges! Forward ever, backward never!

I pray and decree that you will ever go forward in life in Jesus mighty name!

Yours sincerely,
