Bishop Marvin Louis Sapp, an American Gospel music singer-songwriter and the founder and senior pastor of Lighthouse Full Life Center Church, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan took to his instagram page to admonish his followers to pray for the late Kobe Bean Bryant who died in a helicopter crash on a steep hillside in dense morning fog in Southern California on Sunday.

He wrote,

As a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ, there are something’s I just don’t understand. However I do understand the pain his wife @vanessabryant children and family are feeling. It’s a pain that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

I want to admonish each of my followers to keep them lifted in prayer through this difficult season and please call them by name. Believe me they really need it. Lastly I remember the last conversation that my late wife and I had. She asked me to give her 1 last gift before she transitioned from this life to life eternal. I said yes anything you want. She said,
“promise me that you won’t stop living.”
Traumas , tragedy and grief can cause us to become stuck. Process at your own pace but never stop living. That’s what our late love ones would want us to do.... #FamDontStopLiving #RIPKobe
