Understanding Inspiration
"But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding."Job 32:8What is Inspiration?
Inspiration is the process of being spiritually and mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative! Inspiration is also an access into divine ideas or connection with God's plans or purpose for your life. I bear witness that my life is replete with different shades and sizes of God-inspired ideas of which I'm eternally grateful. Do you want to be inspired to do something great and outstanding? If yes, then do the following:
1. Partner with the Holy Spirit!
"As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them." Acts 13:2
2. Read Bible and books!
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" 2 Timothy 3:16The Bible is a compendium of divine ideas. Read and study it with a view to finding inspiration for your daily living.
3. Call unto the Lord!
"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." Jeremiah 33:34. Take advantage of night season
"I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons." Psalms 16:75. Visit exotic places!
Visiting exotic places might trigger in you fresh ideas that would procure inspiration to do something fresh!
Don't be stuck in your environment, location or daily routine! Go out and discover nature and the world.
I decree and declare that you will be inspired with great ideas that will impact your world positively in Jesus mighty name!
